India vs South Africa: Cricket fraternity welcomes India’s first win in Centurion | Cricket News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Cricket Brotherhood celebrated India’s first Test victory at Centurion Thursday, with Virat Kohli‘s bowling attack comes in for special praise from greats such as Sachin Tendulkar for its ability to “take 20 wickets anywhere in the world”.
After memorable victories at Gabba and Lord’s, team India ended 2021 in style by overthrowing South Africa‘s citadel, Supersport Park, when they gave the Proteas a loss of 113 runs in the preliminary test.

India’s burning tempo unit, including world class Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, picked up 18 wickets to make the country the first Asian team to win a test match at SuperSport Park.

As expected, congratulatory messages flowed to Kohli and Co. in from the cricket fraternity.
