Mayors of over 100 cities in the country will visit Ayodhya and pay their respects at the temples of Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanumangarhi, an official said Friday. The mayors’ visit to the temple city comes days after the visits of prime ministers and deputy prime ministers of 12 BJP-ruled states earlier in the week.

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with several BJP MPs from the voting state for breakfast.
