Enjoy the dazzling Geminid meteor shower

The annual Geminid meteor shower, one of the three major meteor showers in the northern hemisphere, reached its peak on December 14 with as many as 150 meteors per hour. During a Geminid shower, the speed of meteoroids is slow, bright meteors are abundant, and fireballs often appear.
