New Delhi: here are the cosmic lovers! The American space agency has once again devised a puzzle to test your love for celestial phenomena found in the far reaches of the world.
Keeping its social media game up to scratch, NASA has shared a clip that includes images of 6 Nebulas and asked its stargazers to name all of them.
So, are you ready to accept the challenge from NASA? See if you can name all the nebulae:
Congratulations to your cosmo lover if you overcame the challenge and if not, let us help you with the alien puzzle. Here are the names of all the nebulae featured in the NASA clip:
The Hourglass Nebula: It is a young planetary nebula in the southern constellation of Musca. In fact, the ‘Hourglass Nebula’ is found within the Lagoon Nebula.
The Spirograph Nebula: Shining like a multi-faceted jewel, this planetary nebula lies about 2,000 light years from Earth in the constellation Lepus.
The Red Rectangle Nebula: With a spectacular symmetry and red color, this Nebula is a protoplanetary nebula that resides in the constellation Monoceros.
The Little Ghost Nebula: This faint, round, planet-shaped nebula resides in the constellation Ophiuchus. Don’t confuse it with Ghost Nebula or Ghost Head Nebula, they are different.
The Retina Nebula: The Box Nebula is located on the western edge of the constellation Lupus the Wolf. With clouds of dust, this nebula is shaped like a torus.
The Cone Nebula: The Cone Nebula resides in the Monoceros Strait and is, in fact, part of the nebulosity surrounding the Christmas Tree Cluster.
Well! that’s it for now for the Nebula area. Hope you enjoyed the heavenly journey as people on social media are already loving NASA’s alien puzzle.
